maf to map knock sensor question

i am sick and tired of having maf related problems like a never ending code 34 that i can't fix and neither can anybody else in the world. So i was reading mike davis's site and a swap to sd is sounding nice.

Can i just replace my knock sensor with a 92 knock sensor? Or once i do that do i also have to jump the two terminals in the esc harness.

For a MAF to SD conversion need the '92 knock sensor and to remove the ESC module and jumper the two pins together.

On a SD system (TPI/'7730) the ESC module is on the MEMCAL.

Yep. The one that comes from the sensor and the one that goes to the ECM get jumpered together (C & E). The other two are power and ground. Just leave those open.
