has anyone run across a CD/player that is wired into the ECU or into the ALDL connector to be used during the emishions test? this is an application i think for what is called OBD4 or a non-sniffer test. anyway, my buddy did some work on a late 90's Z28 and the owner added all the go fast goodies with no cat. he runs this hardware /softwate to beat emishions test. ever hear of that?

 

I took my late model car I used to own to have inspection done at a shop and they still put it on the dyno to sniff it while they scanned the computer. Dont know if its required for them to do so but itll be hard to lie to the sniffer.

 

my 99 ford f150. all they do is attach a cable to obd4 connector and done. i think engine is off ign on. i could be puking out black soot out of pipe. i think this devise provides false datastream !
