AE issues

I've been trying to get this thing dialed in for a little while now but I'm having the biggest a$$ pain getting the AE fuel right. It seems like it's either not enough or too much looking at the 02mV's coming off-idle.

I've read funstick's posting about AE fueling for $6E and it's been rather helpful but it's made it all too easy to overshoot my goal off getting it crisp off-idle.

Anyone know how to insert a file (a datalog in .CSV format) so maybe you guys could offer a little insight into what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks,

Brian P

I would try going over your high map/ low rpm fuel table (gm/s) and make sure your getting enough there.

Me I was lean for a long time, after the fuel table was fixed, AE didn't really matter to much.

Looking at O2's voltage for AE is not going to be much help in tuning AE. If it feels fine, leave it alone until you get a wideband in there. If it backfires, or does a double take, it's likely too lean. Off idle, you'll want the O2 voltage to definitely go high on an accel, but trying to infer how rich it was is pointless.

my A/F meter hooked up to the 02 sensor is buried rich on AE invoke. seems seat of pants or WB is the answer. i started lean on AE and upped it till the engine responded. took me 20 attemts at enrichment till it was not stumbling any longer. when my WB goes on(this week?) i will have opened up my eyes to real world tuning.
