Unable to BIN edit with TunerPro,730 ECM

This prob. just started.
I'm trying to edit a stock AUJP BIN.Trying to get the VATS out.
I open TunerPro and click "File" then "Open BIN".
I double click the S_AUJP_V2 Bin,then click ECU.Then select ECU.
I double click Super_8dm2-1.ecu

Now...TunerPro is suppose to list all the "Constants","Flags" and "tables"

For some reason it will NOT do this.Nothing comes up to edit.

What am I doing wrong?

I just install my Prominator and sucessfully uploaded the stock BIN.The prob. is that BIN has Vats.Again, that's what I am tryi g to edit.

Try the "view" pull down menu, or F6, F7, and F8 keys.

Are you seeing the Constants, Flags, and Tables boxes? (should pop up when you hit the F6 key)

If you've got those, double click on a line item, and another box should pop up, that allows you to alter that item.

You've got mail !!
Maybe try to uninstall and re-install tunerPro.
Or could just be the downloads got corrupted somehow.
I don't know, never had that happen.

The boxes are there...just nothing in them.

I'll try reinstalling, see if that works.

Those boxes should have "stuff" in there, even if a .bin file isn't open. How about trying a different 8D ecu file?

I've tried a couple different ECU files as well as different BIN's.
I removed the old program and install TunerPro again from Marks site.

The result is the pic you see above.

Played with it for a while and still nothing worked.
I erased my currant copy of TunerPro and downloaded the most currant version.
Works now.

Problem solved

I want to Publicly thank A member named JP.
He saw this post and took the time to edit a stock AUJP Bin for me and sent me the BIN via e-mail.

I thought that was pretty cool of him
Thanks man.

I took a look at the BIN he sent me then I loaded up the S_AUJP BIN.
I was able to edit it and took the VATS out from that BIN as well.

We'll see how it works in the a.m.

No Problem, I know there's nothing worse than having everything ready just to be stopped by VATS!
Glad you got your stuff working.

Did you get it fired up?

I sure did.Thanks again JP.:hail:
Not running that great though.
TunerPro is seeing TPS voltage of .04

I have to check my wiring as this was a preexisting condition before I ever installed the Prominator and the S_AUJP BIN.
I think I might have a short to the ECM as the TPS tests out fine at the sensor...5V in,Good ground and .54V out at idle.
I'm also throwing a code 22= low TPS voltage.

Before the Prominator install I was seeing readings of 25V for TPS voltage(impossible,I know). That's with the TunerPro software .

Anyone have a link to a 730 ECM pinout?

Mark,I just noticed the ECU file name on my orig. screenshot.I must have renamed that file somehow.
No wounder nothing popped up

Verify that the TPS item in the ADS file is doing the math correctly (correct factor, etc).

I sent you a copy of my wiring diagram.
That will help you out graphically to trace things down.
Good luck.

More for Magnus,
While I looked at that screenshot I had a question.
If the alarms are enabled, do they flash a message or indicate when the limit is exceeded?
Just wondering, never turned them on to see.
Neat feature if so.

If alarms are enabled, they change the text color of the item from black to red whenever the value is above or below the alarm threshold.

Neeto!
I'll have to play with that.
Great job.
