Out of fuel again.

Out of fuel again! Guess I'll be shopping around for some 42# injectors.. Heres a small snip from messing around. The setup is
a 355 cid, vortech S-trim with a small pully (about 10-12psi at 6k), 36# injectors, and about 60psi under boost.

Injectors go static at about 5k, and o2 drops from there.

Joe,

You might want to consider these from Summit:

Mopar Performance Injectors
P/N: P5249452
52lb/hr @ 55-psig

Clint suggested these to me and I have ordered them. They are low-z injectors.

Yes, but you'll probably never need another set and you can offset the cost by selling your 36#ers....

Hows the car?

Don't ask....>>

There are 60 PPH high impedance injectors out there. I've been using them in my 3.8L without a hitch. With them, no ecm mods, and they'll make alot of HP. Kinda $$, but why not just do it right once?.

Won't such high flowing high-z injectors cause idle/low speed problems?

$58/$60 toggles between quassi and async fueling on idle.
So in theory, the ECM should switch when such large injectors are used.

But Grumpy would know better. So I'm awaiting his response.

Cool. I'd like to know too. And who makes such high flowing high-z injectors? Specifics please!

Like I've said, I've been running them for about a year now, on my lil v6. And that's in both SEFI, with the one ecm, and batch fire with the 749.

Like I've said....

Well, thank you for saying again. It's kind of difficult to search and read about one person's experiences only to know that you've said this before, especially if you don't know who and what topic to search for!! Therefore, there is no way I could know of your experiences.

Where did you get the 60#ers??

Willie

They're MotoTron injectors.
Mine came from Full Throttle Speed.

Some of the other vendors that cater to the Turbo Buick crowd carry them as well. Also, you'll occasionally see them advertised as 65's, rather than 60's.

HTH,

Those 60 lbs ers are called high Z injectors.

The High Z are compatable with the stock TPI computer, correct?
Low Z are pulse and Hold?

How well does the car idle with this large of and injector (I would think that it is a mighty small pulsewidth), with computer adjustments of course.

FWIW, Mike at Full Throttle is about as nice of guy as there is. Jeremy also got a set of 60s from him.
