I am struggling a bit trying to develop a good timing table for my 395. I started with the ARAP table and have been reducing values all over the table to avoid KR. I have KR even at 3300RPM with engine load 212.

If you have seen my other post today, I think that I maybe dealing with false knock. I dont hear any detonation.

Hey doc. Are you living in the area?? I'm local in Medina and was only able to run once this year on a Wednesday night at Norwalk.
Seems like racing is picking up also at Dragway42 now...

Well, I was in the Akron area, but got a good job at Ford in Dearborn, so I moved to SE Michigan. I got to the dragstrip only once this year with my '99 LS1 Camaro.

I am tuning the 395 cu.in. stroker now and dont know if I will get to the dragstrip with it this year.

Once in a while, I drive back to the Akron area and run around with some fast Mustangs and imports.
