Can't see why not, have to start someplace. Get the engine running, rough in the idle, do some high load data logs, check if there is enough fuel, check the injector DC, adjust from there.

I put in a Lt4 hot cam set up in a 95 firebird with a 6-speed and mildly ported heads. The owner insisted that the computer would "learn" the new cam (yeah right) it was so lean the header where glowing bright red. He was able to limp it around with stick if it was an auto it would have died if put into gear.

As this is going to be the first start up after my rebuild. Should I adjust the lower and upper BLM limits , so the ecm can compensate more during cloosed loop action? Bad ide?

Cheers
