For some reason, My calbe will not allow my laptop to connect. I have the 232 max calbe set up and I'm running CM software. I paid for the cable a few years ago and I took the 232 apart to look inside. I noticed one of the resistors was red, which is different from all of the others. Now, is one of these resistors supposed to be different, or do the resistors turn a red color when they burn out? I tried to post a pic, but the file was way too big. I'll try to post the pic later.
