will this work?

ok i know that the TBI motor in our 3rd gens is close to if not the same as the computers on the GMC and GM trucks ... what i know to know is can i use the info from this board and put it to use in my friends 89 GMC Jimmy with the TBI motor.... his motor has been mildly built but the problem is we are useing a 350 computer on a 305 motor so i would like to tune the computer a little bit. so should i look for a site that only does trucks or can i use the info from this site for it.... is everything the same what is different.. please fill me in thanks !!

Yes, you can use the car info., for tuning a truck. Once you get the basics down, they're applicable to anything.
