Aldl datastream .ads file needed

Can i get a for sure working .ads aldl datastream definiton for Tunerpro RT and a 730ecm. My pulse widths are still not reading right.

Im using the Super_8dm.ecu and i have the 91gta305A48D.bin file opened. Thirdgen99 helped me out last time when my TPS% wasnt working. This is what he told me:

All items in every ADS I've seen for 8D has errors like this... This will fix it: In the info for whatever item is in question, see if it is set to Divide... If so, then it probably isn't working (I think people thought that it was N/Factor).. If it is set to Divide by 2.56, change it to Multiply by 0.390625 (take 1/2.56)... It will work now..
Anyone have any suggestions for the PW? Its sets to Divide[factor/x]+offset)

Thanks,

Brian

JP....that's for the %TPS conversion.

My .ads for $8D shows to use byte 45 (16-bit,) set to Divide ([factor/X]+offset) with a factor of 65.536 and no offset, and labeled in mSec. It seems to work fine and the readings make sense.

Same problem as before--misuse of the Divide function in TunerPro.. Change it to Multiply by 0.015258789 (or 1/65.536) and you will be rewarded with accurate pulsewidth display...

Save the following attachment then rename it to 1227730-kc.ads:

Another thing you can do to check these various .ads files that are floating around is to go back to the original datastream definition they were most likely derived from (to get these definitions, go to http://www.moates.net/fileman and click on "Datastream Definitions", then download the file ALDLstuff.zip). Once you unzip this file into a separate directory, you'll be able to access many different definitions... Look at A100.DS for this application. With these files you have all the necessary information to create your own .ads files (which can be very powerful).. The one I submitted in the last post is just the base 1227730.ads that is included with TunerPro that I modified.. I have since created many other definitions (including one for the LH0 '91-'93 V6 1227730 cars (couldn't find one, so I made it), and a later model 3100 Lumina (94 i think, I can't remember right now, but it was obviously still OBD-I))..

???
I take it that the MAT isn't displayed already?
Don't recall since I already have my .ecu setup.
Just add the item(s) for display.
The values you need are already in the .ds file and MAT is in the aldl stream.
Very similar to the CTS item I think. Just set it up the same but use the settings as listed for the mat in the A100.ds file.

Setting up and adding new items to the ads files are easy once you get the format, and download the information for you ECM as was mentioned.

Once up the learning curve you can add items faster than you can type a question asking.

I have done a lot of 58 mask stuff and added several items, dublicated then in different units, etc.

I think I have boost displayed now in 3 different units, Kpa, Boost, and In Hg.

Mark has done an excellent job in Tunerpro allowing anybody to add, change, create new files.
