I have two control boxes. One from '88 Z28 and one from a '89 TA, both 305's both 700R4.
My question(s) is: Can I swap the boxes and keep the memcals?
That is, exchanging the box and not the memcal. I have already removed the 9th injector. I would like to change brain box and keep the memcal to the original motor so the end result would be the camaro brain box with the trans am memcal.
Also the VATS has been diabled as this is an older vehicle engine swap.
Since this a no VATS and no cold start motor with the same 700R4, I am presuming there is no special personality inside other than the memcal for these two year models.
Anyone know anything more?
