DIY-WB and datamaster

Im going to hookup my diy-wb to datamaster. On my vette ECM i should use pin C18. I got 2 outputs on my WB, + and -. Should I use the + to pin C18, where do I put ground. Or do I not use ground from the wb box?

thanks

The DIY-WB was designed with connection to grounded devices in mind. Hookup is important for good response and accuracy. Here is the best way to connect the DIY-WB to an ECM:

1) Use 18 awg wire connect ignition switched (B+) to J3 and J11. This provides power to the unit. A 5 A fuse is recommended.

2) Use 18 AWG wire connect chassis ground to J4 (this is heater ground)

3) Connect J12 to an ECM ground (22 AWG OK). This should be a ground wire that is run to the ECM. All of the ECM grounds are to the engine block. So connecting there will be OK, although I recommend closer to the ECM is better.

4) Connect J8 (Vout) to the ECM pin C18 (Note: I did not check this pin, this is from your post).

5) Connect J1, J2, J5, J6, J7, J10, and J11 to the sensor.

Wiring the DIY-WB in this manner isolates the high heater current from the UEGO side of the circuit. This greatly improves the accuracy of the unit. Note that this is only valid for the original DIY-WB.
