DIY-WB almost done, but NEED HELP!

Hi, I've almost completed assembly on my DIY-WB project but am very stuck in one spot where the instructions aren't clear. If you haven't assembled this particular unit, you will have trouble understanding what I'm talking about. Lemme post the link to the pic of the one i'm building and if anyone has built this one, I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP, as I am VERY confused on one part. That's off the www.diy-wb.com displays page. It comes with instructions on how to build it, but get very vague in one part and possibly contrasting and I have no clue who to contact for help. If any has assembled this unit please give me a shoutout at markolc@attbi.com or reply to this post and I will explain the problem I have in luch more detail! PLEASE help, thank you!

As far as I know, the display by Bruce Roe s the only one in wide use. I have assembled almost a half dozen without any major problems. I am not sure who developed the LCD display. I'll look into it. cheers, BW

Is that the Bruce Roe one that is in my pic? Cuz I'm building the one straight off the DIY-WB page with the downloaded instructions. What does Bruce Roe's look like?

The Bruce Roe display is the 40 segment LED just above the one your asking about.

Bob,

There are two DIY-WB Displays. there is the bar graph one that you are thinking about & this one. Check it out http://www.diy-wb.com/displays.htm

Mark,

I would suggest that you subscribe to the DIY-WB mail list & post the question there. I dont know of anyone that has built one, in in fact I just learned of that display not too long ago. the guy who built it is on that mail list & can help you & I am sure that there are other folks that have built them there as well.

hth's

This is the Bruce Roe display that is more widely used. Like Bobalos said your best bet is to join the mailing list and see if you can get more info about the LCD display. cheers, BW

I'd LOVE to join the mailing list! I didn't know they had one. Where do I find info about it and particularly how do I join?

Well................ I just searched all 4 web sites & dont see a link to the DIY-WB mailing list although I know there must be one, because I am on the list. Email steve @ sravet@arm.com & ask him how you get onto the DIY - WB mailing list. if he does not know then goto the DIY-EFI web site & join the DIY-EFI mailing list & post it there. most of the folks that joined the DIY WB list are from the DIY EFI list anyway. so.........
