stupid question but?

I've just finished my first scan and need a little memory jog. looking at the O2 volts does lower voltage mean lean? Also I'm running an LT1 intake and I have increased the tps in incremants of 10, 15 and now 20% but I'm still getting some hesitation of the line. Should I increase it more or should I be looking for other causes? I would appreciate any help or thoughts.

You always have to look for other causes. That said, sometimes one has to enrichen the VE table to get a quick reving engine enough fuel coming off idle/low RPM. And some engines need alot of AE, and sometimes not much timing to get going.

Thanks. I did get some knock at lower rpms, and I backed the timing off. I'll try adding a little more fuel in the lower rpm range, but then should I back my tps to stock? The reason I asked about tps is because it feels just like a carb that's going lean at takeoff. If you're cruising along say 25 miles an hour and mash it, no problem. But if you're taking off from a dead stop and giving a smooth light throttle it hesitates 2 or 3 times before running pretty normal. I'm having some brainfarts today so bear with me. If you're in a low load situation, light takeoff/acceleration. would that be further up the kph scale say around 40-60? That's where I was getting knock. Oh and one more thing, I'm running my distributor at factory timing 6* btdc if that makes a difference.
