C3(7747)- ESC bypass method
Something I have found useful is to tie B7(ESC) to C14(5V ref) with a blue scotch lock connector.
I then just unplug the ESC.
This prevents the ESC from sending any spark knock signals to the ECM and makes the ECM think all is well.
I don't have to zero out any retard tables and even though the ESC is listed as a 9V line, the 5V signal seems to work fine. (0 knock count)
Just wondering if anyone else is using this as a way to bypass the ESC circuit or for trouble shooting timing issues?
