27SF512 EEPROM and Pocket Programmer 2
I'm trying to reprogram a 27SF512 EEPROM with my Pocket Programmer 2, but get this error:
"Model 1 of the Pocket Programmer does not support this device."
I'm used to using the 27C256 with no problems.
Can someone explain this?

Do u have an older PPII and the software is out of date?
Might be it, especially if it says not supported.
Mine has it for that chip and I have version 1.42 software.
Might want to send transtronics and email

I just downloaded the newest version, 2.12, from their website. Now when I select that chip, it tells me, "Only supported with Pocket Programmer 2"...strange message. But it looks like it programmed my chip. Going to throw it on the test engine now.
