help please i dunno

i dunno what eprom i need for my car. can someone please help me out? car is 87 2.8L manual, i never pulled the puter before, and i don't really know what i am looking at with the prom or anything else. basically i am a newbie that is wanting to get into tuning my car using the puter. please help. i already read the sticky on getting started!

you need to socket your ecm's circut board, then throw in a 28 pin zif socket on top. Then you can use AT29c256 flash chips. It's not too hard...

cool, thanks, but i got one more question,
where can i get the socket and what does it cretail to get it in?
i got a soldering iron and all the solder that i will ever need.
