Anyone bored and want to look at my datamaster file?
I finally got it to work. The only thing that concerns me is a I get a lot of knock retard when I floor it. So I did a 40mph to 75 mph WOT run, and I got a big spike of retard as soon as I floored it, but as I stood on it, the knock counts kept getting lower and lower.
Heres my datamaster file
I removed the 10k resistor as soon as I started getting data.

I took a look at it and don't see any relation of knock to the retard you are getting. Retard was minimal when you first got on it at around 40 but no knock counts were there and the retard went away quickly. The reduction in spark "appears" to be from your table settings in the high MAP areas. The advance dropped directly with the map readings.

Thanks for taking the time to look at it, I appreciate it.
This is what I was talking about as far as the knock retard when I first go WOT @40mph:
But the longer I stay on it, the less knock retard I get. Here I am on the same run but at 70mph still at WOT:
It also seems I am pretty rich under normal throttle conditions:
I'm just trying to understand this stuff so I can attempt to write my own chips. I read through the datamaster help file, but it didn't help much as far as what values are acceptable.

Smack me in the head! I looked at in with $8D.
No wonder there were no counts. Strange how the data seemed good when I viewed it though ???

I still havn't downloaded the MAF version, but The best i can say is to try and get rid of the knock. One or two counts "could" be interpeted as normal but not enough knock to cause retard. If it is because of leaning out you could give it more fuel or less spark. Experiment with AE a little and see if that yeilds any answers.
