IT HAS BEEN CALCULATED THAT IF EVERYONE IN THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA DID NOT PURCHASE A DROP OF GASOLINE FOR ONE DAY AND ALL AT THE SAME TIME, THE OIL COMPANIES WOULD CHOKE ON THEIR STOCKPILES.


AT THE SAME TIME IT WOULD HIT THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY WITH A NET LOSS OF OVER 4.6 BILLION DOLLARS WHICH AFFECTS THE BOTTOM LINES OF THE OIL COMPANIES.

THEREFORE SEPTEMBER 1st HAS BEEN FORMALLY DECLARED "STICK IT UP THEIR BEHIND " DAY AND THE PEOPLE OF THESE TWO NATIONS SHOULD NOT BUY A SINGLE DROP OF GASOLINE THAT DAY.

THE ONLY WAY THIS CAN BE DONE IS IF YOU FORWARD THIS E-MAIL TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN AND AS QUICKLY AS YOU CAN TO GET THE WORD OUT.

WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. IF THEY DON'T GET THE MESSAGE AFTER ONE DAY, WE WILL DO IT
AGAIN AND AGAIN.

Not using gas for a day or two *might* get their attention. If everyone cut their useage, 15%, and maintained that, now that would make a difference. Just not buying gas on one day, is pointless.

 

i live in corn country here in south central wisconsin. my neighbor is in construction and is/has built a HUGE ethanol refinery down the road. specific for blening with gas. it is employing quite a few people and will do so for many years. that is a big help in this small community and especially to the farmers that grow feed corn. i understand there are some cars that run "flexible fuel" which i believe could be 100% ethanol. not certain of how those cars run or are enginnered. i have been burning 10% ethanol for first time this year in my vortec v6 boat and have ran it many years in all the cars. have not ran it yet in my snowmobile and plan not to unless N wisconsin goes 10%. maybe ethanol use will increase.
