true DOS based aldl data log?

I've searched and I see that the Palm datalogging is "in the works" BTW I've got a m130 os ver 4.1 just waiting for a shot at my 7477

So, is there a true stripped (B&W) DOS version of winaldl available?

I've got a HP 200lx, "real" serial port, Dos ver 5.0 that I was thinking I could use

Possible? I did have autocad light running on it for a while

Thanks
Thom

I think one of the DOS freeware programs is "Carbytes". There used to be a copy on the FTP site.

I have an old version of AutoTap that came with a DOS application as well as Windows.

Craig Moates has a DOS version of an ALDL scanner that I still use today

I second the Moates software -- and its free. The best part is he gives you the source too, so you can fix broken stuff (if there's any left) or customize it to your liking.

I also like the Moates' software -- but it's only for the '165 and '730 ECMs, not the '747. So, I'm not sure it's the answer you were looking for.

AutoTap is only for OBDII, even the old DOS version.

Diacom might be an option, if you can find it used. New, it's overpriced enough that I'd suggest spending your money on a better laptop to run WinALDL or TunerPro RT instead.
