I went with the AutoProm on the theory that it would let me tune and see results, therefore making my learning faster/easier. It's relatively simple, and other than a few of my own oversights, it seems to work well. The only thing I've not worked out yet is getting it to data log and emulate at the same time.

Other than that, I'm too green to offer much help. But I have had good luck with getting Craig to return my emails, usually within a day, sometimes within hours. Maybe just the week end lag?
