BPW constant

Now, if I'm understanding this correctly, raising the BPW richens the fuel while lowering it leans it out.

Now, I have 30lb/hr Ford SVO injectors in my Holley Stealth Ram. Using the APYP bin(165 ecm), i see all pulses are set to a factor of .05

So.. BPW = (1461.5)((5.7L / 8cylinders)/3.78g/sec))

I got 3.78 by converting 30lbs/hr to g/sec.

(30lbs) (16oz) (1g) (1hr) (1min)
_______________________________ = 3.78g/sec
(1hr) (1lb) (0.13oz) (60min) (60sec)

I'm getting 275.49 as a BPW constant which cannot be right. I need some help here. What is a good number to set the factor to?

Not sure what your trying to do.
But apyp bin mask 6E uses an injector constant.
Not BPW calc as you listed. The tbi masks are not 6E.

Where are you getting TBI from? I cannot find an injector constant in tunerpro.

You brought up BPW and have tbi in your sig.....
People frequently start out looking at port bins by mistake when they have a tbi.

Look for single fire and double fire in the constants.
I'd assume your using the 6e.xdf that came with TP.

Thank you. i Finally found where the inj. constants were. Should I check the single fire flag? Also.. Do I change both both the single and double to suit my bigger injectors. I hear about people using 33.5 as a constant for 30lb svo injectors.

Single fire flag- search or do another post. IDK I'm a SD guy.
Look in the 165 sticky up top

Single and double are normally set the same IFAIK.

33.5 sounds like a good place to start.

What's funny is I couldn't find anywhere that his "sig" had the word tbi. So I did a search and it's in his profile that he lists tbi... then something caught my eye. Look at the text in his image in his sig.
DIRTBIK3R... DIR TBI K3R

BTW, set the single and double fire to exactly what your injectors are flowing. Make certain that the injectors you have are flow rated at the GM fuel pressure of 43.5psi. If they're not, then you need to recalculate the flow rate with the new rate = old rate * sqrt(new pressure / old pressure)

Beside your name is shows "Engine: 305 TBI". Your talking about 30# svo injectors and your sig says SDPC motor with a HSR. Im confused but would like to help.

HSR or TBI?

165' or 730'?

Maybe I should change my sig. the 305TBI is the old motor and injection system. I have the 165 ECM now along with painless wiring for the maf tpi system. And about the SVO #30 flow rate, I bought them from Summit Racing and only see an advertised flow rate.
