Just installed the latest version of tunercat and my timing numbers are off?

I had an old copy of tunercat from about five years ago. Just getting back into playing with the car again.

I bought a laptop and installed the latest version of tunercat and 8d. I also installed a newer version of the pocket programmer software. Well, there is a difference in my timing numbers. The difference is the same, as what i have my base set to in the constants.

Say i have 10* base initial and 10* in my main spark table. In the old version.

In the new version i have 10* base and 20* in my main spark table. The difference is my base number.

I installed my chip in the programmer and saved it to the new version. And opened it up, thats when i noticed the difference. So I took it out to the garage. and opened it up into my old version of tunercat. and it went back, to the lower timing numbers. So there is something different between the two versions.

Thing is IM a little unsure what im running for timing now. I have the exhaust out for an upgrade. so i cant get it on the scanner to see whats going on further.

The main tables in TC are the actual timing.(not sure when it changed but has been this way for some years now)

The base is included.

So 6 degree base (stock).

And 36 degrees at 45kpa at 2k rpm is 36 degree at that point.

later
