BPW change for larger injectors
BPW change for larger injectors
Here is the backround. <cr>
1227747 <cr>
ARJT <cr>
truck 350ci auto (almost stock)<cr>
65lbs/hr inj's <cr>
The stock BPW is set to 135. The 65 lbs/hr injectors are 18% larger than the stk 55lbs/hr units.
I intend to decrease the BPW constant to 110, an 18% decrease, to compensate for the larger injectors.
Any thoughts/recommendations on this course of action?
Brent

I come up with 114.23, so use 114...
Actually, you should use the 114 for this PROM. Then, drive around with the new chip using a scan tool and watch the BLM's when the engine is fully warmed. If your BLM's are off across the board (away from 128) almost the same amount, you can simply make one more adjustment to the BPW instead of changing the entire VE table.
