Myth about TunerCat
Let me clear up a myth about tunercat. If you want to pay with a credit card, you have to use Paypal, otherwise send a check or money order in the mail. If either one of these won't work, they may be flexible.
REGARDLESS of how you pay, the program is $69.95. If you want to use anything other than $42, then you MUST pay an additional $19.95 PER definition file. I paid for the program, and asked for $8D, and they told me it would be an additional $19.95. So there is no "freebie". However, they did send it to me anyway, and just asked that I send them the addition money when I can. Of course, I won't screw them, so I will send it, but you do have to pay for any addition ECM defintion files that you need. Just wanted to clear that up.

Not that I'm complaining or anything, but why do you suppose they did it that way? Is it assumed that most people use the $42 calibration?
To me it would make sense to sell the S/W with the calibration of the purchaser's choice, or with none at all. It just seems strange to be given something like that, that you know you'll never use.
