ZIF socket install help
I bought a ZIF from the local electronics and I was going to solder it into my memcal. I think it's a pretty generic ZIF socket. There's no room for me to solder the ZIF pins to the memcal because the plastic covers them. The ZIF stays in the memcal under tension though. What do I do - leave it in under tension or get a ZIF that's easier to solder in?
