I AM installing FI on 55 chev I need to Know
What SHOULD BE TURN OFF IN PROM.I HAVE VSS
BUT NO EGR,I'AM WORRIED ABOUT CANS.PURGE,
AND OTHER FLAGS I WANT TO MAKE SURE IT DOES
NOT GO L/HOME MODE. THANKS IN ADV.

 

If you read programming 101 at DIY_EFI, then check back, I can tell ya where you need to do it. Kinda hard to explain the flags in 2 paragraphs.
Best is set something in the parameters so things aren't enabled, rathen then just resetting flags in my opinion

THANKS GRUMPY FOR REPLY.I Have read Programming 101,Tuning Tips,ANYTHING else I can get my hands on.You are the one that got
me thinking about parameters instead of just
Flags.I can find EGR TEMP in WINBIN and a few
others I also have a Reg. TUN Cat. I don't no
what all I should turn off.Like EGR should I set TEMP to 254 OR off at 255.I want to be able to use Hiway mode FUEL.AS I understand you need VSS for that and some other things
ANY HELP WOULD GREATLY APP. THANKS
