i've been cruising the archives for a while and i've decided im gonna try to get into this..is there anyone that can help walk me through everything (including buying equipment)

Have you tried the "link" on the top of the DIY PROM Board? Traxion did a heck of job there and I started with his early version.

But go through Tim's article and then ask specific questions if you haven't gotten anyone to respond to your "plea" yet.

But I think 95% of all your questions will be answered by Tim's article.

yep, i've read the article a good three or four times now, just a few small things i didnt catch on to.....

also if you read this traxion you did an EXCELLANT job on that article!

Okay, then what specifically would you like to have cleared up? Specific questions generally get a better response than a "general question". General questions end up in a lot of typing and STILL not getting your specific question answered.

i have no question i was looking for a 'buddy' to help me out with rough spots down the line (which im SURE to run into, i ALWAYS do)
i've found it a lot easier if you have a few extra people on icq or whatever and you can just shoot an instant message over and get a quick response!
