No VSS with a 7730 and 8D.

I'm working on a car with a 7730 ECM and running 8D. It has no provision for a vehicle speed sensor. The car runs great all the time, except when you enter a turn off the throttle at very low rpm's (1500-2500). It tries to stall. Are there any changes in the bin you can think of that will help this condition?

A few specs on the car:
410 inch Rodeck sbc, 230cc heads, Stealth ram, 256. 266. at .050 soild roller cam, 58 throttle body, Mendeola transaxle and a race weight of 2550 lbs

Any help with getting a vss on a 934 CV as it's the only rotating part outside of the transaxle

Jerry

I'd work on the IAC/ min idle setting, VE Table, DFCO, and decel enleanment.

IAC/ min idle setting. Helped, the steps at idle are now 28 it was 80.
Still working with the VE Table and making good progress.
DFCO was lower then the idle setting and now reset higher and is not a factor.
Can you tell me more about decel enleanment.
The problem is gone for now,

Grumpy Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I would recommend that you get a VSS and add it to the system. Until then keep opening the blades until the system stops stalling. This should be more critcal for a Auto car as opposed to a manual. Make sure to reset the TPS sensor.
