BBC tbi on SBC?

Hey all- I'm a new member and I figured I'd celebrate with a dumb question right off the bat. Has anyone done the old BBC tbi on the SBC trick? I have the 1227747 ECM and I figured it wouldn't be too hard since it was used on both. Am I right about this (seems like kindof a lot to assume)? And if so (or not), what other mods need to be performed, and how do I figure out exactly what needs to be done to the air/fuel tables? Thanx tons for any replies

sure, the bbc tbi comes with much larger injectors though youll either want to use the stock injectors in it or tune your chip for them. I run the holley TBI with a GM pod on it so its essentially the same thing as the 454. If you havent switched to a carb based manifold yet, do that first though.

I just read in Hot Rod about a guy who was puttin' a 383 in his 91 RS conv. They told him to get in touch with www.turbocity.com. You need to have a custom burned chip to match your cam, heads, headers, etc. combo. They can do that. They will also tell you (and sell you of course) the right injectors for your combo. They sell larger throttle bodies too. They told this guy to use a TB off of a 454. It flows 620 cfm as apposed to 520 cfm off the stock unit. But that's for a 383. Hot Rod said that Turbo City's hi-po unit flows 585. I am gonna be putting in a 350 in my 92 and I wanna use the TBI. That's why I pay close attention to this kinda stuff.
