730 problems after 165-->730 swap
Guys,
I did the 730 swap, i started the car with Mike Davis's latest bin(it ran GREAT). I then started the car with a stock 92 camaro bin(peice of crap). Well anyways, i found that after 5 seconds of idle it would throw the ESC code 43. I have talked with a couple guys about this through email. They both said to test the knock sensor through ohms, i'm going to do that as soon as i can(i'm still at work today). I left the 92 350 knock sensor in it and put the MAF system back in, the MAF runs the same as before so i would assume that knock sensor is working(it does the startup test just fine on the MAF setup). I'm wondering if something in my wiring could be messed up? Maybe something in my harness?
I'm going to bypass some things and run a wire directly to the knock sensor to see whats happening, could my memcal be junk? I have a stock memcal that has been erased only, no desoldering yet.
