i know the best way is a customized prom but i dont wanna spend 400 just to spend more when i change the heads,so with that said has anyone ever swapped a t-5 inplace of the auto and if so what chip did you use?i have a t/a original 350 i swapped the t-5 in but know i cant use the 350 chip i have if i switch it over to the t-5 305 chip i have it runs like a dream the 350 gives it a really rough idle and surging problems along with a stall here and there coming to a light any reasons

If you're using a PC, you can spend $150 on a pocket programmer (or be even cheaper and build one of the simple chip burners), then spend less than $50 and build an ALDL cable to use with Craig Moates' software and you can burn your own chips, tuned to your car!
