Early TPI

I don't see a For Sale area, so forgive if this is the wrong place, but I have a early TPI that seems complete (ie runners plenum manifold (305)injectors, fuel rails), (no air filter pieces) and I'll toss in a 730. No harness, $300 plus shipping. Used, but not beat up. Good enough price not gonna haggle, just seems to be enoguh good guys here to offer it here first.

I'm okay with this.

While there is a classified which I hope Bruce also took advantage of (I don't have time to check), we eprom burning guys have some unique equipment and parts requirements.

Should the guys that want to organize a group purchase of Flash Proms do it with a formal Group Purchase, or should they post here? Should those guys that want to complain about JDR (who? me?) post here or on the Aftermarket Board?

I personally feel that we DIY'ers are a unique breed with some unique requirements, but I also believe in democracy.

So I propose an open discussion on the subject regarding how we handle this. I vote that generic "buy/sell/swap" be done on the classifieds, but components unique to EFI/Prom be allowed to be tendered here also.

Vote Yes.

I'm for **us** passing along deals to other listers without the whole site getting involved. Besides on the regular board you'd get bomded with guestions.

Or at least try it for a while.
Nothing is written in stone, so it can be changed if it gets crazy/ silly

I wouldn't mind seeing FS ads in here as long as they're EFI-related.

As long as we're on the topic, I could use a harness for a MAF TPI vette!

I don't care about DIY'ers selling parts/supplies to other DIY'ers as long as its not a business. This is great because it helps the DIY cause. If one of us needs a new ECM or a new harness then this is one of the best places to post/ask. However, what I don't want to see is any buying/selling of 'Custom' chips or the buying/selling of BINS. This does not further a DIY individual's DIY efforts.
