new to burning own proms

new to burning own proms

ive been told that once i install my suspension stuff and lt1 cam and 350 tpi heads that i should get a custom chip or to burn my own chip. so im looking for some basics to get started. i have the perfect compuer (laptop P150) but that about all i know. if someone could point me in the right direction i would appiate it. my car is a 91 with the stock computer-- mods below.

- 305 TBI
Mods: Performer TBI intake, 1" TBI spacer, K+N, jet fan switch ,160 thermo,Accel control module, Jet Stage 2 chip, edelbrock TES headers, Compleate 3" Flowmaster exhaust, Edelbrock springs, KYB struts and shocks, 700R4 built by TSI, SLP tq converter, b+m trans cooler, white guage faces, megashifter..
next month: spohn LCA's and panhard rod, BMR relocation brackets, 323 gear, lt1 cam , 350 heads

bbtaz97 - don't take this to heart. Just understand that one of the most asked questions is how to get started. The article linked at the top of this page is probably MORE information than what you are looking for BUT in that article you will have everything that you need to get you really *started*. Some of the pics in the article may not work for you. If they don't then go to www.picturetrail.com/traxion and then click on EPROM programming pics.
