Fan problem, ECM related??
This might belong on the gen tech baord:
This is a wierd one:
I was setting min air today, I pulled the paper clip out while the key was still on. Now the primay fan will not run. Motor, Relay, and sending unit( I grounded it to test) all okay. The relay connector has 4 wires:
orange - master power
tan - relay 12v power
black/red - fan lead
green - don't know
Does the ecm control the fan with the green wire? Or is this it's own circut? The green wire on the secondary fan seems to be a ground, the primary green has 8V going through it. Did I fry something by pulling the paper clip out while the key was on?
