CHIP MODS
EGR-Disable
If you're running the stock timing table, that's designed to be used with the EGR. If you've eliminated the EGR, then you're running too much timing.

Try setting you max timing to no more then 32d, and see if that doesn't cure your knock.

BTW, and noise of the right frequency will trigger the knock sensor. A bad accessory devise bearing, serpentine belt, exhaust rattle can all cause a false knock.

Thanks Grumpy, I'll try to datalog with the EGR enabled and data log first, then go from there to see if it's my pullying causing it. Thanks man

BTW if i set my max timing to 32d isnt that gonna make my motor loose power? Would it make sence to just let the knock senor do a lot of work rather then loose power? Maybe i just don't understand enough about this setting. can i get your input please

I'm using a 6E bin with the 32b table. My orginal is and 32b. Reason I switched is because i disabled the ninth injector. Even with the stock 6E table i get a little more then normal knock. only in the 3k-4-k 144-190 LV.

thanks
