freescan working on com other than 1?

Axle/Gears: 3.73
freescan working on com other than 1?
just wondering if anyone is able to get freescan to work for them on any other com ports other than com 1
someone i know is having problems with freescan, and he mentioned hes using com5 and a usb adaptor for his mastach
his mastach with usb adaptor tests out fine using the aldl testing software
so im wondering if being on com5 is the issue hes having
freescan+com5=bad? :P
