would a performance chip cause an engine to run hot?
I just bought this car and its runing hot, Im gonna replace the thermo and waterpump today. He claimed that if i switched from a performance chip (he installed) to the factory it should run fine. My thing is this sounds like BS to me, Do i posssibly have problems with my computer? Does this make sense to you? How hard is it to install these "chips" ?
