XDF question

after i modify a ronebl.bin it asks me in TP if XDF was modified? this is from memory as i am at office now. if so do i wish to save it?

i always do NOT save it. so my EBL.XDF is original that i was given with EBL.

is that a mistake?

under what circumstances would I or anyone modify the EBL-XDF?

i understand that there may be several XDF's all different yet all similar for a specific mask. not sure if that true for EBL.XDF

am i missing something here?

You weren't asked if you modified it, you were told that you modified it. This could be a result of you re-arranging the order of items in the const/flag/table list.

so you are saying the only thing that changed was the order of the tables that apparently i rearranged opening and closing them. IOW the constants are in diff order. or the flags/switches rearranged. same with tables. the values held in say in "VE low speed" table would not change? that is my concern. so the fact that i never saved changes in XDF are not all that important?

Nope. I'm saying that changing the ordering (either inadvertently or on purpose) could cause the message box you saw to pop up. If you didn't intend to change the XDF, then continue doing as you're doing and don't save the changes.
