What all can you do with it? Burn chips for TPI, TBI, and '92-'93 LT1s?. How do the '94+ LT1s and LS1s get programed?

$200 will get you started in doing the eprom ecms. The newer (starting in 95) ecms are usually PCMS, and use flash programming. Not much availble for doing flashs yet, and they take a special cable to do. The LS1 are libable to be near rocket science to figure out. Eac addition ecm to your base one adds cost, and varies by what your doing. Easy to tie up a grand in software for doing many different ecms, and there is no universal software to do all the combos possible.

That kind of attitude is what spoils public sharing. I'm very surprised Bruce responded and I wish he hadn't.

Just because you didn't get a response in 4 hours is no reason to get indignant. Noone on this forum owes you a d*mn thing.

Next time, do some research instead of expecting someone else to take their time to explain something that is common knowledge and easily accessed on the WWW.

Lots of personal time has been devoted to making GM ECMs editible by the everyday DIY guy, so show some respect next time.

bite me. I've answered a post or 2 as you can see and I'd like the same in return once in a blue moon. Thanks Grumpy.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. You think your 2 posts is a big contribution.

Blue moon? As in long time? You bitched after 4 hours. Get some perspective.

Try researching the Programming 101 for a start. Many hours were put in to it and made public for free.

Your lack of respect is pathetic.
