Maybe a stupid quest. But will this work with Craig's software ?

Should I connect the Data to M-connector on the ALDL, and what is the easiest way to get 12 v (lighter or ALDL connector)?
Can I read data even if I'm converted to MAP now? I have spliced the MAF signal wire and got a DFI-350 unit from Accel.
