Help me get ScannerPro to communicate
Ok, I can connect for a random period of time, but not exceeding 17 seconds. Soooo...
ADX Header Data, 8192 baud, echo - on, connection command - none, monitor command - Mode 1 ALDL Dump Request, disconnect command - none.
Mode 1 ALDL Dump Request command, byte string [0xF4 0x56 0x01 0xB5], process reply - on, reply timout - 300ms, reply size (total) - 66, packet offset - 4
Leaves me with the questions, what is packet size, and is the above setup correct?
Thanks

Re: Help me get ScannerPro to communicate
You list an '87 formula, but your dump command indicates 7730. Which is it?
What you list should work for 7730. I've been hearing of others having problems staying connected, however I have yet to reproduce the issue. The good news is that I'm in Baton Rouge at the moment with a number of test cars that I'm working on - one of which is a '94 F-body and I'm happy to report that ScannerPro is workign with it - so hopefully I can flush out a few issues and have a new build up shortly.

Re: Help me get ScannerPro to communicate
It's an '87 that I converted to a '727 with $8D.
I posted this problem a while ago, but FWIW if you didn't see the other post, in the SP log file it says 'Send Command Failure!' I think, when it disconnects. Data is good until the failure, then no data (disconnects).
Thanks, its looking great, can't wait for the official release (think you said it will be in TP5 right).

Re: Help me get ScannerPro to communicate
I fixed this issue today. I'll be uploading a ScannerPro build when I get back to town.
FWIW, ScannerPro now official works to datalog all 94/95 LT1 messages (which was one of my bigger goals for ScannerPro).
