Its come time to hang it up

Guys,

I won't be leaving this forum but I won't have a TBI motor anymore. Trading it in for a ZR-1. Going from one GM morphodyte to another. I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment. I enjoy the DIY life. LS motors are too easy I guess.
Anyway, my 84 Xfire is for sale. I'm posting here because I know you guys appreciate the work. Here's some of the particulars:

I am original owner of 84 Xfire that I am considering selling. It is an original Z51 so the suspension is one of the best Chevy put in a Vette for road course.
It has been extensively modified but uses the Xfire induction. Car has 112k on it but new bits have been added over the last several years. Motor also still has 200psi compression in all cylinders. Car has been documented in Corvette Fever and Corvette Enthusiast. Here's some of the mods:

ENGINE: TFS 23d heads
Custom Comp Cam Hyd Roller Cam
Crane SS Full 1.6 ratio roller rockers
Comp Cams Hardened Pushrods
Ported and Extrude Honed Xfire manifold
2.13" TBIs with 80# injectors
Underdrive pulleys
Fluidamper
Flexkooler water

Exhaust: TPIS 1.75" Headers
Random Tech Cats
MagnaFlow Cat Back

Brakes: Upgraded C5 brakes front with EBS Green Stuff Pads
Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines

Transmission: ZF-6 with Hurst shifter
ZF Master and slave cylinder with SS braided clutch line
Fidanza AL FW
SLP Camaro LT-1 clutch disc

Differential: Dana 44 with 3.45 gears. All new Spicer U joints.

Suspension: Tokico gas shocks
Recently done front and rear hub bearings
ZFdoc Cbeam plates

Interior: Saddle with cloth sport seats
New Carpeting and door panels
CD player

Exterior: Med Gray Metallic
AFS replica GS wheels with correct offset
9.5" front/11" rear with Yokohama AVS Sports
Paint is overall very good and original. Front and rear bumpers have
clearcoat fade.
Car has never been touched or had accident.

Tuning: Personally done using Zeitronix WB and Dynamic EFI

You can still DIY your ZR1! There are definitions out there for it for the common DIY tuning software.

Re: Its come time to hang it up. Xfire is SOLD

Craig,

I certainly plan on it. The .tdf and .xdf I have looked at are pretty basic and nothing like what I have gotten used to having with EBL or even the 7747 defs. I'm hoping we can develop more parameters for the AFA, AF, 8E defs.
They guys I have met with ZR-1s don't seem to have the tuning experience people on this forum have. And I plan on using Ostrich but may need BlueTooth since the ECM is in the engine bay.
Right now the garage looks empty.

Look for Mike Ebert, Mr. Crowley over at the Corvette Forums. He does some amazing stuff with the LT5s, and he's local to me.

Re: Its come time to hang it up

Craig,

Just saw his video of a 415 doing 10.5 N/A. You think he has a more complete .xdf or .tdf for the Z?
