Converting to flash chips???

Hey I know that this is a newbie question, but Im just wondering how hard it is to convert a 7747 over to flash chips??? 27fs512 I think. I think that I may hold of on the ebl due to the financial part of it and just go through Craig and get the burn1 and the chip conversion and some chips and go from there. Any suggestions??? Also Ive been looking at some bins with tunerpro and I cannot seem to find out where the BPW duty cycle chart or area is so that I can change this when I get everything?? Also wondering what a good bin to start with would be. My stock one or something off of Moates site?? My combo is- stock but fresh bottom end 4bolt main 350 bottom end. RPM Air-gap manifold/461 heads/comp260h cam-440lift int/exh 212dur at .05 lift int/exh/ AFPR from Jet/Edelbrock shorty ceramic headers/ 3" exhaust and no cat/MSD Blaster coil@wires. Ultimate tbi mods. I know that no one can tune it for me but is there a better bin to start with than another??? Sorry its in a P.U. Greatly appreciate any help on this, Thanks for the great info and site!!!

Re: Converting to flash chips???

Converting the 7747 to accept flash isnt too bad, but it does require desoldering the old RN chip carrier and soldering in the adaptor. Youll need a low wattage soldering iron and desoldering ribbon or desoldering iron. I did this with my old ECM, except I had to make the adaptor as Craig wasnt carrying them at the time. Definatly alot easier then using the UV erase junk.

The stock bin will be about as good as any. None will be close to your combo.
