Do you re-set BLM / INT after fuel adjustments?
Hi guys -
I'm in the process of datalogging BLM / INT numbers and adjusting the MAF tables accordingly. My question is - do you disconnect the battery to erase the stored BLM numbers after each adjustment (or set of adjustments) so that all BLM cells are starting from 128 again?
('87 vette / MAF set up / $6E)
Thanks!
Dan

Re: Do you re-set BLM / INT after fuel adjustments?
I am not an expert chip burner by any means. But are you burning a chip after the fuel modifications are being made? If you are, I don't think it will matter as your INT/BLM will change each time after a air/fuel modification has been made. Once a modification has been made to an engine it will affect the way your engine runs and these will have to set in your MAP tables. If you are using the stock chip that came with the car (which from what it looks like on your profile) you are defeating the purpose of unplugging the battery. I know MAF cars can handle small engine modifications, but larger mods It won't matter. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
