Dyno Time, need tips, and q's answered
Hey all,
Tomorrow I have a few hours scheduled at on a dynojet. I will have a fairly free reign over what I can do and the amount of tuning I will be able to do.
Right now I am running an LC2 (turbo buick V6) with a 148 and GenII translator with wideband correction and methanol injection.
My main concern is the amount of load that the dyno places on the car will be far less than the street. Is this something to be concerned about? Anyone have a ballpark estimate for what speed the dyno's load will be equivalent to aerodynamically? I don't want to up the boost and timing only to find that I will knock heavily on the street past a certain level of load (speed).
If someone can show me a dyno sheet (in 1:1 gear) with a timer included with the data, that would give me a much better idea of what to expect.
Also, I'm assuming I should keep the torque converter locked for my runs, true?
any other advice? This is my first time on a dyno. Should I air up my MT radials to their max inflation pressure? etc

BTW, the car has run a 7.5@94 mph before the GenII which has provided me with much more stable AFR's.
Car weighs 3400 or so with me in it.
Anyone want to guess what how much HP I put down?
