Coolant spark(sub cold)???

Hey Im just wondering if someone can tell me what the cold or sub cold spark advance is for?? Or if it is necassry?? The stock graph in my bin is all over the place and it has 20 to 30 degrees of spark in it. Is this normall. Can i just Zero this out and not worry about it?? Im working with my spark timing right now and have almost got it good. Any ideas or tips on this Please?? Its a 7747 ecm with $42 xdf THanks again!!!

Best bet is to hit the Tuning Guide book in the sticky's. Under the '8063/8746/7747 section is a write up on spark timing and how it is calculated.
