Async fuelvsRPM??

Ok so now im am starting to go lean at about 4500 to 5000rpm Im just wondering if increasing the async fuel mulitplyer vs rpm is going to help this?? I would do a search but it seems that the search forum is not working?? Thanks

That table is for the "pump shot" when you step hard on the acellerator pedal. You need to adjust the fuel tables, depending on whether you have a MAF or speed density.

Only if the ECM was in async injection mode. The 'async fuel mulitplyer vs rpm' table is used to convert a sync PW to an equivalent async PW. Has to do with sync injections occurring on plug firings (RPM related), and async injections occurring every 12.5 msec (time based).

You may want to check your fuel pressure at that RPM (4500 - 5000). Between the AE that needed to be added and this, it may be a fuel delivery issue. If the pressure is OK, then check the injector duty cycle. If it is OK, then will need to increase the VE at those areas.

RBob.

Re: Async fuelvsRPM??

Thanks for the info agian!!! So I had to change my bpw a little because I forgot that I had my regulator cranked!! Then I increased my Ve2 table a fair amount from 3600 to 6500 and this definatly has helped. I need a wideband though!!! The narrow band is saying rich up there but Im sure it a little lean. My fuel pressure is constant at all RPM and now I just need to figure out how to read my injector duty cycles?? I had to lower my bpc from 113 to 109 and that seemed to help. So I would assume that I may be going static at high rpm?? Would that seem right with 21psi on a 61lbhr injector's and my total ve is in the 91 range at high rpm right now. I didnt think that I was making 300hp but maybe?? Thanks again

Re: Async fuelvsRPM??

As far as reading inj duty cycles in a datalog i believe TP-RT can do so. If you are using winALDL there is a fix or patch or whatever you wish to call it to allow you to do so in winALDL. a search should find it.

When I moved from 7747 to 8746 I ended up going way rich on upper VE tables. I wanted to start rich and oh boy did i ever. I dont think you need a much fuel as you may presume in those tables. Possibly due to lower load(not in PE) in those upper RPMs. When in PE AND upper rpm tables then PE adds in the xtra fuel and it is just as commanded PE(12.7) for me. No easy way for me to log upper RPMs for BLM.
