oops easy question adapter chip

oops easy question adapter chip

i unplugged my i guess its the memcal? from the back of my moates adapter chip and theres a million little holes in the back of the im gonna keep calling it the memcal lol

i have no idea which direction to plug this big brown socket back into the adapter chip

plugged the memcal back in with it facing that way and the pins over as far as they can go to that side

id like to chime in on this topic, you do that so that you can carry over the limp home mode program correct? so would car run with out the stock chip pluged in?

The knock sensor filter is also contained on the MEMCAL. So there is also the purpose of keeping that intact as well.
