open loop decel in $0D

anyone know if there is a way to set open loop decel in the $0d code? thanks.

I dont remember for sure, but I think CL is suspended as the fuel is decayed out during DFCO under most conditions during decel, unless the engine RPMs or speed is too low. What issues are you having?

im having surging with throttle off. my afr on wb swings from about 1.5 to .7 lamda.

There are lower MAP limits for CL learn enable that could be used to force the PCM to disable learn during decel if the O2 PID is causing a surge and the gains dont really help control it. Reset the PCM (either thru the ALDL or by leaving it unplugged to reset the memory), and it will no longer apply fueling corrections in those areas. I used the MAP thresholds to disable learn on mine as well as the PW is so low with the big injectors that it sometimes drops out entirely during decel, causing the AFRs to hover around 16-19:1 even without DFCO. Motor still pops a lot in gear during decel, but it no longer bucks.
